TOP FUNDRAISERS!!!!!

Pupils at Kelbrook Primary School recently raised the magnificent sum of £801.55 towards our 2011 Relay for Life by taking part in a 'Penalty Shoot Out' competition. The money was raised by the pupils through sponsorship from their friends and family.

Pendle Leisure Centre kindly ran the 'Penalty Shoot Out' at the school, providing a portable goal and two members of staff to coach the boys and girls in taking spot kicks/penalties.

Certificates were awarded for the most goals scored in a minute and also the fastest penalty.

The photo shows Pendle Leisure's Sport Development Team Coordinator Joe Cooney, presenting pupil Leo Garner with a certificate for raising the most sponsorship money. Leo also received a reward of a 10 week block booking of junior activities at the Pendle Leisure Centre in Colne

Well done Kelbrook Primary School and huge thanks from all at RV&WRL for supporting us in raising funds for research into childhood cancers.

We at RV & WR Ladies are proud to announce our brand new website. Details of our current and future events are now available to view and information regarding all our fund raisers. In addition you can read all about our rather exciting history and personal details of our committee members.
