I suspect that the “esprit de corps” engendered for both local cancer patients and survivors (and their families) will be of as much (or perhaps even more) value as the money itself. Obviously, one is less use without the other, but you and your colleagues shouldn’t lose sight of the additional value you add by providing a focus for all those afflicted by cancer along the Aire, Wharfe and Ribble valleys.
